Story: Set in Australia, Ram (Ram Charan) is a student and he is interrogated by a cop (Prakash Raj) about a fight. This leads to Ram revealing his love story and the relationship he has with Jaanu (Genelia), his college mate. Apparently, Ram believes in living life with a free will and doesn’t believe in loving someone for the rest of life. On the other hand, Jaanu wants to be with someone who can love her for the rest of her life. This leads to a love-hate relationship between both but whether it is Ram's philosophy on love or Jaanu's belief in love which wins forms the rest of the story. Artist performances: Ram Charan has come up with a good performance and he has not strained much in his dance moves. Performance wise, Ram Charan justified his new image and he has done a neat job. Genelia was a disappointment, she was lacking her original sweet charm and to make things worse, her make up, her costumes, her hairstyle took everything away. Shahzahn Padamsee looks sweet and she made her presence felt. Prakash Raj was natural, Prabhu was okay, Pavitra Lokesh was neat, Brahmi was normal, Vennela Kishore was not given a single chance to show his talent, Srinivas Avasarala brought few smiles, Naga Babu was effective, the others did their job as required. Plus points:          * Ram Charan's Characterization     * Shahzahn Padamsee     * Songs     * Cinematography     * Locations     * Styling Minus points:     * Genelia     * Narration Analysis: The film came in with a lot of hype and with the audio becoming a instant hit, the expectations became double. However, despite having maximum expectations, the film has managed to satisfy the audience to some extent. There is a little confusion in what the director wants to convey and what the audience must know. There is a mismatch in the definition of love and life. Ram Charan's characterization is interesting and the production aspects are of high quality. Overall, Orange may appeal to the target audience( A centers & Overseas). We have to wait for few more days to know how it will be received in B & C centers. Verdict: A Honest 'O'range Film!

Superstar's daughter affair with a Sri Lankan

Akshara Hassan, daughter of Kamal Hassan and Sarika, is reportedly dating a Sri Lankan boy named Jason Jeyaseelan. 19-year-old Akshara has surprised her friends by posting their picture on a social networking site.

According to reports, a year ago, the couple came to know each other through one of their common friends. Since then, their relationship has grown stronger. But Akshara's parents does not know about their love and they just know that they are good friends, adds report.

The source adds, "Jason and Akshara are quite open about their relationship and have put up their pictures on social networking sites. Akshara's family knows that Jason is her close friend but they are unaware that they're in love."

One look at the networking site and you will know how comfortable the two are expressing their feelings for each other publicly. Like other couples on such sites, they too have nicknamed each other Akshu and Zayn.

Akshara, younger sister of talented Shruti Hassan, is gearing up to mark her debut in films. She is currently working with ad film-maker Rahul Dholakia as an assistant director.

Star Hero gets special permission to smoke

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has been allowed to smoke in his hotel room in Berlin, a city where lighting up is banned! Germany has banned smoking in public and private restaurants since 2008. Those caught flouting the ban would face a fine of up to 100 Euros (approx Rs 6,116). Smoking in public places, especially in hotels and restaurants is strictly prohibited not just in Berlin but in other German states as well. There are 'No Smoking' signs and warnings that the offender would be fined if caught smoking, put up everywhere. However, the rules have been bent for Shahrukh Khan, who is shooting in Berlin for Don 2. The actor can smoke at the Hotel Mandala on Potsdamer Platz for the entire duration of his stay there. It has been two months since he began shooting there. Recently, a German magazine carried a report about the general manager of the hotel giving Shahrukh special permission to flout the norms. A special exception was made for Suite 1107, where Shahrukh will stay till the end of November. The actor has also been provided an ashtray to make sure he doesn't damage the carpeting and linen in his suite on the 11th floor of the hotel. The rate of the room is Rs 113,960 per night. According to law, smoking is forbidden throughout the property's premises. However, the management of Hotel Mandala has made an exception for Shahrukh because they consider him their most prized guest. The actor's craving for nicotine is well known, but this is the first time that the authorities have bent rules for anyone. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirms, "Shah Rukh's suite has a terrace attached and they (the hotel authorities) were kind enough to allow him to smoke only on the terrace." The German media has already carried articles gushing about India's King Khan choosing their city for his mega-budget film. It's obvious the Germans are going all out to make SRK's stay in their country as comfortable and memorable as possible.

'Mega' Power shocks Mohan Babu!

Interestingly, within a day gap the dynamic actor of Telugu Cinema and the rocking power star has joined the popular micro blogging site 'twitter'. Twitter bug has finally bitten Ram Charan. And the credit should go to actress Genelia D'Souza and actor Rana Daggubati for bringing Ram Charan to the micro-blogging site.

Ram Charan joined Twitter bandwagon on November 23rd. Sharing about his Twitter experience, he posted, "Chala chala happy interacting with all you guys. Can't wait to wake up. Will buzz you all in da mornin. lov you and gud nite to each one of you."

The power of Ram Charan is in such sorts that couldn’t be controlled by anyone for his huge fan following and youth appeal. Apparently, Ram Charan made some 4500 plus followers in a single day for his twitter account. While Mohan Babu just made half of that in the past couple of days.

Another interesting thing is that 'Legend' Mohan Babu just follows the user accounts of his family members. Comparatively, Mega Power Star is following his close pal Rana Daggubati first and later his co-star Genelia. Industry folks are saying that Mohan Babu might have been shocked with the tremendous response received by Charan. Young Hero's father got insulted

This is not the first time he got insulted due to involving in the business affairs of his son's movie. Varun Sandesh, the young and happening hero scored another below average grosser consecutively for the third time. After the failure of much hyped 'Maro Charitra' and 'Happy Happy Ga', the youngster came up with 'Yemaindi Ee Vela' and that too turned to be an average grosser at the box office.

Coming to the point, Varun Sandesh's father arranged a special show of 'Yemaindi Ee Vela' for all his friends and their families around Bay Area. But it is quite common for these NRI's to check reviews before watching the movie, even though it is a free show. Close sources stated that after checking the reviews of the movie, many people stepped back to watch the film. At the end of the day, only 30 people turned up to the theatre for show time, irking the young hero's father. As the theatre with a capacity of 500 got filled merely for 30 seats, though the show is 'free', this should be considered very serious by Varun Sandesh, before doing his next flicks.

Right now, the talk of the nation is the 'Bigg Boss 4' reality show and it has taken a new twist. The latest entrant to the show is the Hollywood bombshell Pamela Anderson and though she is a guest, many fireworks are expected. Rajini's generous act

Superstar Rajinikanth has once again proved that he is a man with noble heart.

According to the sources, "Rajini has donated a large sum of money towards illuminating a few gopurams in the famous Sri Arunachaleswarar Temple at Tiruvannamalai. When the actor heard that there was a lighting issue in the temple and that there were several festivals lined up, he immediately offered to help. Now, the temple will look grand and festive even from a distance. And that's not all. The actor has promised help in the future too for the temple and its infrastructure".

Rajinikanth also played Arunachalam in one of his superhit films.

Rajinikanth has recently sent Diwali gift hamper to policemen in two police stations Teynampet and Kodambakkam in Chennai. The gift hamper consists of a pant piece, a readymade shirt, a Sari, a box of sweets and assorted firecrackers. Remember, that his house in Poes Garden falls under the Teynampet police station jurisdiction while his Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam is under the limits of the Kodambakkam police station. Actress upset over boyfriend's new affair

All is not well between lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. We hear that the two are on 'maun vrat' and haven't spoken to each other for a few days. The fight was over his 'Rockstar' co-star Nargis Fakhri .

While Ranbir Kapoor maintains that he and Nargis are just friends, Katrina thinks otherwise. Perhaps because Ranbir Kapoor has been spending a lot of time with Ms Nargis even on days they are not shooting. This has irked Katrina. Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor would answer her calls promptly, but of late, they have been going on missed calls which aren't returned. It seems like the two are on a break and things will get back to normal only when Ranbir Kapoor promises to keep his distance from Nargis.

Censor cuts for Hot Babe's nude scenes

Due-for-release Barbara Mori (Hrithik Roshan's Kites co-star) flick to not retain frontal nudity scenes. Hindi version to haveeven more cuts. Here's a sneak peek at steamy pictures from Barbara Mori’s Spanishfilm La Mujer De Mi Hermano (My Brother's Wife) that will never make it to the Indianversion.

The film will release in India in English as well as Hindi. While the English version has been passed with an 'A' certificate, the Hindi adaptation has been sent for censor review. The international version has frontal nudity and intimate sex scenes, the desi version will be trimmed keeping the audience in mind.

A source reveals, "The Spanish version has frontal nudity and a lot of intimate lovemaking scenes. While the English version has retained some of those scenes barring the frontal shot, the Censor board is bound to suggest major cuts for the Hindi one."

TV Channel's angry with 'Family Hero'

He is the hottest hero mostly liked by married girls and elderly aunties. Glitzy hero of the family audience, Jagapathi Babu is prone to more troubles in the near future it seems. A performance oriented role in a new Telugu film is creating some serious issues for the star.

Ultimately, Jagapathi hails from Machillipatnam of Andhra Region, though he has settled down in T-Region. His recent stint as a leader of Student Union in the upcoming movie 'Jai Bolo Telangana' is annoying many famous producers and a TV Channel Owner of A-Region. Story: Ramakrishna (Kalyan Ram) is a talented footballer and his goal is to make it to the Indian National team. He has got a lovable family which is huge in number. But Ramakrishna's blue eyed girl is his sister Haritha (Saranya Mohan) who is naughty and plays pranks. He keeps protecting her at all times whenever she gives trouble. The time comes when Ramakrishna has to go for the selections and the story takes a turn when Haritha goes missing. While the family members assure him, Ramakrishna ends up discovering Haritha being chased by goons who want to kill her. Who are these people? How does Ramakrishna deal with them? All this forms the rest of the story. Artist performances: Nandamuri Kalyanram looks handsome and does his bit as required with ease. Sana Khan looks sizzling hot and filled the glamour quotient. Saranya Mohan was cute. Shaam was nice but one could see traces of 'Kick' in him. Kota was impressive. Ahuti Prasad was good. Ajay was apt. Brahmi, Venu Madhav were okay. The others didn't have much to offer except fill the screen. Plus points:     * Kalyan Ram's performance     * Sana Khan's glamour show     * Technical values     * First half Minus points:     * Routine plot     * Stale comedy     * Overdose of melodrama     * Songs Analysis: The film takes off on a promising note and the first half passes off with light hearted entertainment, required fights and some romance. However, things slow down in the second half and it is due to the dose of sentiment and the TV serial sequences which spoils the intensity. Overall, the film would have scored better if there was variety in the story and some quality in the comedy and trimming of melodrama during the second half. Verdict: Can be watched once!

Story: An absurd tale, the story begins with Seenu (Varun Sandesh) who is trying for his second marriage. On the other hand, there is also Avantika (Nisha Agarwal) who is also trying for her second marriage. While Seenu meets Nimisha (Nisha Agarwal) and likes her, Avantika meets Yuva (Shashank) and feels comfortable with him. Now, both of them decide to share about their first marriage with their prospective alliances. The flashback begins and incidentally, it is Seenu and Avantika who are the married couple. They reveal about their love story, marriage and the divorce. Now, the time comes when Seenu and Avantika have to decide to move on with their new lives or get back to their past and mend it. This forms the rest of the story. Artist performances: Varun Sandesh came up with a decent performance and he gave his full to the role. Nisha Agarwal looks sweet but then she has to improve on her acting and energy levels. Though she resembles her sister Kajal in side shots, she must work on the body language. Vennela Kishore was impressive and he manages to bring some life into the film. Shashank was alright but his character was not etched that well, Nisha Shah looks sexy and she has chances of striking few big offers. Pragathi was elegant, M S Narayana and Krishna Bhagawan came and went, Jhansi was okay, Madhu Sharma did justice to her item song. Others didn’t have much to offer. Plus points:     * Comedy     * Vennela Kishore's scenes     * Second half Minus points:     * Concept presented wrongly     * Double meaning dialogues     * First half     * Songs and background score Analysis: While the idea of showing the importance of marriage is acceptable, the way it was conveyed was not correct. Most of the first half is spent on how the hero wants to seduce the heroine and it is because he is unable to control his urge. On the other hand, the film looked like it was all about extreme hormones and how uncontrollable today's generation and college students are. Overall, the ethics of the movie was not correct and it must be said that the second half made up for all the damage that happened in the first half. At the box office, the hardcore masses will like the sleazy comedy but that's all to impress the audience. Verdict: Misleading and messy!!

With her luscious thighs and meaty moves, Mumaith Khan is one of the most admired Item Girls of the modern Telugu Cinema. The hot babe recently started her production company titled 'Sugar Candy Entertainment' and is said to be planning to produce some telefilms, documentaries.

Buzz is that Mumaith Khan is planning to come up with a talk show, in the lines of Mohanbabu's daughter Lakshmi Prasanna's Lakshmi talk show. Though Lakshmi cannot speak Telugu with flow and diction, Provided with the glamorous appeal of the beauty and her skills to make the audience sit on the edge of their seats with her queries, The program was a smashing hit in the popular channel of Tollywood.

Before this Item bomb, yesteryear actress 'Jayaprada' and singer 'Smitha' also started such a kind of shows that are unable to generate the required TRPs. Even the exquisite Telugu oratory skills of Jayaprada and Smitha could not make their shows succeed.

However, Mumaith cannot speak Telugu with flow and diction and is not having the appeal that could match anyone of the above starlets. Mumaith should really realize the value of her potentiality before making such attempts rather than crying some time later.

Music Director traps Singer

GV Prakash, who composed music for 'Ullasamga Utsahanga' and Prabhas starrer 'Darling' is soon to tie knot with her long time girl friend and Singer Saindhavi. Yes, the young music composer is in love and will soon marry his childhood buddy Saindhavi!

"Yes, we're getting married. Saindhavi and I have been friends from school and we've been going out for the past eight years. Recently, our parents spoke and finalised the wedding, which will take place by the end of next year," said GV Prakash.

So, why weren't they spotted together often in music events and launches?

"Well, we didn't want a lot of media attention. The good thing about us is that we knew each other much before we entered the music industry."

According to the composer, the singer has supported him throughout his musical journey so far.

"I usually play to her what I've composed and she gives me critical feedback. In fact, most of the songs that she feels are nice go on to become hits. They went on to become the biggest hits in my career!"

Does he give feedback about her songs?

"Yes, I sometimes suggest to her how she could have improved her tone. The first time she sung for me was for the Aaruyire... number in Madrasapat tinam in which I tried to get out the tone in her voice that I like best," said the musician.

One quality about Saindhavi that he loves?

"She's simple... that's something I love about her," he signs off.  

 

 

Telugu Cinema @ African Money

Indian cinema is at par with all other film industries of the world is a known fact. The world’s highest numbers of movies per annum are produced in Indian Cinema, followed by Nollywood, the cinema industry of Nigeria (African Continent) while Hollywood stands in the third position. Perhaps, this equation is never going to be altered in the future years to come and there is no need for any Indian Film Industry to get invested from an African country. But still it is happening in the other way. Most of the film producers in the recent days are businessmen from this Dark Continent. These producers left India, especially Andhra Pradesh, way back in the 80s and are coming back to produce movies. Among such people, Radha Mohan, producer of Varun Sandesh’s upcoming flick 'Yemaindi Ee Vela' is a noted one, who is famous for his businesses in Kenya. Another eminent one is the producer of dud movie 'Adhi Nuvve', Dr.Srikant, an NRI doctor in the US and has a big corporate hospital in Pretoria, South Africa. Last but not the least, Shobu Yarlagadda of Arka Media, who produced movies like 'Vedam' and 'Maryada Ramanna' is also having his business partners from South Africa. There are so many upcoming producers who just returned from African Continent and investing in Telugu Cinema. The years of US investors have gone it seems and fellow Telugus from different countries are making their mark too.

Poor Kamal compelled to take Rajini's path

Kamal is really a poor guy. Comparing to other artists in Kollywood, its Kamal Hasan who used to be determinant and work hard for the upliftment of Kollywood. Every movie of him used to have a theme and new techniques introduced to Kollywood.

He is also famous for maintaining schedules and strict discipline in the shooting spot.
Unfortunately, his movies and projects that had big budgets have no finaniers or takers, while people stand in queue to invest on Rajini.
As Enthiran got its audio launched in Malaysian city, Kamal is now planning to relese the audio of Manmadhan Ambu in Singapore.

Movie titles like Sivaji, Goa, Endhiran are Tamil Names - declares Karunanidhi

 

There is an ongoing debate in Kollywood circles on naming the movies in Tamil to get qualified for tax exemption. While Goa and Shivaji - which were purely north Indian titles, they were recognized as Tamil Names and hence they were given tax exemption while real Tamil names were rejected citing that they are just names and not Tamil words!!!

Karunanidhi has come in support for providing tax exemption for Goa and other north Indian names.  He says that as Goa or Shivaji does not have any other translations other than they are just names, and both the names had a place in dictionary as name of place and person respectively, they were given tax exception.
He also warned those who politize his policies.

Golmaal 3 rocks over ‘Action Replayy’……….

With ‘Golmaal 3′, director Rohit Shetty completed a successful rib-tickling trilogy, striking the right chord with the audiences and giving tough competition to Vipul Shah’s romantic ‘Action Replayy’ at the box office.
Both the biggies were scheduled for a Diwali release and hit the screens Friday.
‘The content of ‘Golmaal 3′ is very good. People are enjoying it a lot and it has been houseful so far. It is a good time pass and full paisa vasool movie. ‘Action Replayy’ has opened a little weak and is not pikcing up,’ Ashwini Singh, business head of SRS cinema, said.
Satish Garg, owner of G3S Cinemas, said: ”Golmaal 3′ is going very good. We have an occupancy of 100 percent and the advance booking is rocking. ‘Action Replayy’ is okay with close to 40 percent occupancy.”

For ‘Golmaal 3′, Shetty teamed up with Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Mithun Chakraborty, Kunal Khemu, Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Johny Lever and Ratna Pathak-Shah.
Just like its previous two installments, it is full on entertainment and people are lapping up the laughthon, while Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai-starrer ‘Action Replayy’, in which the story travels to the past, has got a lukewarm response.

”Golmaal 3′ has taken the screens by storm and is doing better at all sites across Delhi. It has 60 percent occupancy, while ‘Action Replayy’ has 30 percent. Both have good advance for Sunday, however, ‘Golmaal 3′ has much more. ‘Action Replayy’ should pick up tomorrow (Saturday) onwards,’ said Jayendra Banerji, vice president Satyam Cinemas.
Yogesh Raizada of Waves Cinemas said: ‘All votes are in favour of ‘Golmaal 3′. It has got a good initial and public swing due to its recall value. It has an occupancy close to 70 percent. It has good advance booking till Sunday and the ratio is 60:40. ‘Action Replayy’ is a new concept and its acceptance is yet to be seen. It has managed to get an occupancy of 40 to 50 percent only.’

Salman’s Stock in Bollywood Soaring Again….

Salman Khan’s My Love Story (Bodyguard remake) has been bought by Anil Ambani’s Big Pictures for a whopping Rs 62 crore.
My Love Story is being produced by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri; it features Kareena Kapoor opposite Salman. Filming will start in January 16, 2011.
The success of Dabangg, released in September, has sent Salman’s stock in Bollywood soaring, emboldening distributors to once again throw caution to the winds, forgetting the lessons learnt from the failure of Raavan and Kites, films that were backed as surefire successes, but were humbled at the box office.
Salman’s next film will be Aneez Bazmi directed Ready which is set to release in April 2011.

Madhuri – who stays in Denver, Co., USA, along with her cardiologist husband Dr. Nene and two sons – Arin, 7, and Ryan, 5 – will come to Mumbai in November for filming the show.
Madhuri, 43, dominated Bollywood as a leading actress in the 1980s and the 90s.
An accomplished Kathak dancer, she gave many hit song-dance sequences such as Ek Do Teen (from Tezaab), Chane Ke Khet Mein (from Anjaam), Choli Ke Peechhe (from Khalnayak), Akhiyan Milaun (from Raja), and Maar Daala (from Devdas) among many others.
Following her marriage in 1999, Madhuri opted to become a homemaker.
She made a one off exception to her no films rule in 2007 to act in Yash Raj Films’ Aaja Nach Le, an ode to dancing and theatre as an art form in India.
Madhuri’s love for dancing has once again drawn her back to her country of origin.

Well, Shahid and Deepika will be seen together in Heer Ranjha, directed by Sabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. the flick is a contemporary take on the Punjabi folklore romance.
Rumors were that Katrina kaif would be the leading lady in Heer Ranjha but, Sabir Khan has confirmed that Deepika it is for the flick.
“We opted for Deepika because we needed a face that could look contemporary and classical. Among the current line-up of actresses, only she could measure up to my script’s demands,” he says.
the film music will be given by Pritam and Sabir says that the film’s music will be one of its USPs.
“Music is indeed a very integral part of this film. And I am so very happy to have Pritam on board for it. There are 6 songs in the film. The core of the music will be romance… music that will depict that it’s a love story, at the same time it’ll be contemporary,” he says.
Filming will begin in April 2011.

Prahlad Kakkar ask’s Jr Bachchan to forgive him..

I’ll make peace with him on a personal level,” said adman Prahlad Kakkar, a day after actor Abhishek Bachchan lashed out against him on Twitter.
On Wednesday, at the Mumbai Film Festival, Kakkar had taken potshots at Abhishek. “Abhishek Bachchan has 17 flops in a row and is still going strong. He is unique, and should be in the Guinness Book of Records,” he had said during a discussion on Bollywood. He also called the industry ‘a mom and pop shop’, saying that most actors in Bollywood are star sons or star nephews.
“Why use a good actor when you can have a nephew?” he had said.
Abhishek Kakkar clearly upset by his comment, Abhishek reacted on Twitter Thursday afternoon.
“I love Prahlad Kakkar, he should be a stand-up comic not an ad-filmmaker. Maybe then someone will take him seriously! This coming from a man who makes commercials with his own son. Hmmm. Oh ya, Prahlad, I’m already in the Guiness book of world records and a very proud son. I hope you give your sons an opportunity to say the same someday (sic),” he wrote.
In the statement, Abhishek refers to the fact that he holds the record for the maximum number of public appearances made in 12 hours — a part of the promotion of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Delhi 6.
Kakkar has gone on the defensive after the tweet.

“Yes, I absolutely agree with Abhishek that I am a good ad-filmmaker, but a better stand-up comedian. Don’t know why he took me seriously; it was said in a good humour,” Kakkar said.
“People know I am always funny, but if he has reacted, I’m sure it has hurt him, and I am feeling extremely awkward and embarrassed. I shall make peace with him on a personal level. He is a great guy and a good actor. I am a good comedian, and comedians should not be taken seriously. So Master Bachchan please forgive me,” he said.
It may be recalled that Kakkar was among the very few people from the industry to be invited for Abhishek’s wedding to Aishwarya Rai, and Ash shot her first ad with Kakkar.

Prostitution case against Actress

A long-drawn feud between former heroine Seetha and yesteryear glamour actor M Maya, who are neighbours in Pushpa Colony, Saligramam, came to the open on Saturday with both filing complaints against each other.

Seetha and Maya are neighbours in Pushpa Colony, Saligramam. Maya created a buzz at the Chennai Police Commissionerate by accusing Seetha of indulging in prostitution and saying the latter's 'clients' were parking vehicles obstructing the way to her house.

"Seetha is running the Brothel from her residence while husband Satish is acting like a broker for the clients. Customers visiting seetha’s house round the clock are creating nuisance," said Maya in the statement given to police. Maya wants Police to immediately take up the action.

On the other side, Seetha claimed that same kind of complaint was raised by her husband Satish against Maya long back but Police haven’t taken any action. Now, Maya wants to take revenge against her and this is totally a false allegation. Now, let us see how will Police solve this case.
