Kapus should kill Kammas!

Finally, maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma did what he wants despite the threats from chota-mota politicians and rowdies of Vijayawada. Regardless of all odds, Ramu released the title song of his upcoming flick 'Bezawada Rowdeelu' amidst huge crowd in Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada. However, the song is igniting a serious clash of castes now.

The lyrics of the song are giving a different meaning when listened to a many times. The 3 and 4th lines of the lyrics go like this: 'Kamma naina navvu navvi, kathhi peditey… Kapu kasi gonthu kosi, kaala rayara..'. When you read between the lines, the first words of the two lines, 'Kamma' and 'Kaapu' are delivering an inner meaning that says Kaapus should kill Kammas. Maybe, it is to highlight the clashes between Ranga and Nehru families, but the lines are felt offensive by both the castes, and they are likely to take pot shots against the opposite clan. The top notch politicians and police are worried about the supposed outcry, when the hidden meaning of the song is understood by common public. Some people are saying that if any such things happen, RGV should take the blame.
